I've been fiddling with an old Julia recipe, and have ALMOST perfected it! I'm excited to share it soon.

My lemon tree has TWO flowers on it now - YAY! It still looks pretty sad from the trip, but is enjoying it's new pot and location next to my desk.

This picture is semi-disgusting because I'm in the middle of cleaning the kitchen, but I have found that watching Nashville (total guilty pleasure) is the easiest way to get the dishes done! Nothing like a little Connie Britton cheering you on!

The insanely cold weather here this week left our windows coated with ice, ON THE INSIDE. Yesterday warmed up enough (28F) that it finally went away!

I've been doing a lot of wedding stuff this week! With a date and venue set, I'm now onto dresses and catering! Who knew dresses would be so tough? My favorites are totally NOT what I expected.

I'm ready for a change of scenery here. Luckily it's warm again, and the roads are actually clearing up a bit.
