The month of GRATITUDE! Well, every month is a month of gratitude... but this one really reminds us! I'm grateful that this weekend we got to spend a little bit of time exploring our surroundings. After settling right in and hunkering down to work, we took today to drive up to some ruins, explore the countryside, and learn a bit more about the place we'll call home for the next six months! Not a bad weekend! Plus, it included pizza and tacos. You can't go wrong with a weekend that includes pizza and tacos, ever ever ever ever ever. How was your weekend? What are you grateful for?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here's what I found on the interwebs this week that made me drool!<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.halfbakedharvest.com\/moroccan-butternut-squash-goat-cheese-soup-wcoconut-ginger-cream-pistachios\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moroccan butternut squash and goat cheese soup<\/a>. Um, hello delicious!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tasty-yummies.com\/2014\/10\/28\/how-to-make-crock-pot-pumpkin-butter\/\" target=\"_blank\">How to make crockpot pumpkin butter<\/a>! Please try this for me!!<\/li>\n<li>I love <a href=\"http:\/\/joannagoddard.blogspot.com\/2014\/10\/awesome-idioms-from-around-world.html\" target=\"_blank\">idioms from around the world<\/a>. So fun!<\/li>\n<li>How tasty does this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acouplecooks.com\/2014\/10\/chocolate-banana-bread\/\" target=\"_blank\">chocolate banana bread<\/a> look? EXTREMELY TASTY!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2014\/10\/30\/disney-princess-real-waistline_n_6076634.html?ncid=fcbklnkushpmg00000037&amp;ir=Parents\" target=\"_blank\">Disney Princesses drawn with real waistlines<\/a>. I can get down with this!<\/li>\n<li>Naomi's <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakersroyale.com\/cookies\/holiday-cookie-5-salted-chocolate-caramel-snicker-cookies\/\" target=\"_blank\">salted chocolate-caramel snickers cookies<\/a> are blowing my mind. I need those ASAP!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beardandbonnet.com\/kimchi-mac-and-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kimchi mac and cheese<\/a>. I dig it!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloggingoverthyme.com\/2014\/10\/29\/brown-butter-chocolate-chip-scones\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brown butter chocolate chip scones<\/a>. How many ways can I say \"get in my belly\" politely?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brewinghappiness.com\/the-healthiest-banana-split-ever-literally\/\" target=\"_blank\">The healthiest banana split ever<\/a>. Literally. I approve!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohladycakes.com\/2014\/10\/overnight-pumpkin-spice-cinnamon-roll-loaf.html\" target=\"_blank\">Overnight pumpkin spice cinnamon roll loaf<\/a> - beautiful presentation! And, YUM!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ohsheglows.com\/2014\/10\/31\/double-dark-chocolate-coconut-macaroon-tart-vegan-gluten-free-grain-free\/\" target=\"_blank\">Double dark chocolate coconut macaroon tart<\/a>. I'll be making this for sure - I need more ovenless desserts!<\/li>\n<li>I've been wanting to try savory French toast - like <a href=\"http:\/\/drizzleanddip.com\/2014\/10\/28\/french-toast-with-miso-and-parmesan\" target=\"_blank\">this one with miso and parmesan<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>This <a href=\"http:\/\/juliasalbum.com\/2014\/10\/peach-and-blueberry-greek-yogurt-cake-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\">peach and blueberry greek yogurt cake<\/a> is GORGEOUS and sounds amazing!<\/li>\n<li>How did I JUST find these <a href=\"http:\/\/minimalistbaker.com\/5-ingredient-salted-caramel-peanut-butter-truffles\/\" target=\"_blank\">salted caramel peanut butter truffles<\/a> (made with dates!)?? NEED.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefirstmess.com\/2014\/10\/22\/fall-veg-lentil-bowl-w-goji-ginger-tahini-cream-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fall veggie lentil bowl with goji ginger tahini cream<\/a>: need I say more?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/clubnarwhal.blogspot.com\/2014\/10\/pumpkin-streusel-bread-maple-glaze.html\" target=\"_blank\">Pumpkin streusel bread with maple glaze<\/a> = PERFECTION!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Did you find anything awesome this week?
