Hm. That's a good question. I buy it at Costco, which is probably about as cheap as it gets, and I think it is around $17 for 5 lbs. 5 lbs is a LOT of mascarpone! Mascarpone is fun to work with though - it is RIDICULOUSLY smooth (like really beyond all belief), and super easy to whip up easy dishes like this one!
