You're welcome, Leah! I was living in Bozeman at the time, so I was already pretty used to it... not sure how to answer you there! Even if you have to walk the entire thing, it'll be a beautiful/fun hike!!

Thanks, Mary....i need all the encouragement I can get..Did the altitude bother you @ all or are u used to tht kind of thing? The highest (altitude) I have ever been is 6-7000 ft..Thank you for indulging me in conversation..Can't wait to try some of your recipes!

Hi Leah! You absolutely can do it!! I definitely recommend getting as much uphill training (and downhill, for that matter) as you possibly can — just make sure your legs are strong going into it! You'll be great! GOOD LUCK! xo

And tht is what it sounds like..A JOB!! I am seriously thinking about doing the run next year, but am getting a tad bit frightened after seeing videos and hearing stories...PLUS, i am from the flatlands of Louisiana..YIKES!
It looks so beautiful and I feel like if i dont rush and try to be competitive (not tht I am), i might could do it! I CAN I CAN I CAN!!! I will be 59 @ race time so tell me the truth..Is it doable??

Thanks, Emma! I'm jealous of your uphill skills - my body is seriously designed to go to the lowest point possible! I hope you had a great race!

I wish I could bomb down hills like you do but I'm much more of an uphill girl. That stretch down Baldy was a serious low point for me. Congrats on your finish and good luck in your next marathon!

Sounds incredibly difficult. And good job on not scraping yourself up a week before the wedding 🙂 Did you have to worry about sunburns?
