If you are there on a Sunday, be sure to find a local eatery that serves a "Carvery" for brunch. It is like a Thanksgiving meal - spectacularly roasted meats, beautifully prepared puddings and savory breads. On weekdays pop into the woolsworth or five and dime(Marks and spencer) store even Boots (pharmacy) which generally has a small diner in the back for some lovely sandwiches that are very inexpensive; much better than paying full price at a restaurant. If you head north towards Aberdeen and beyond, you must try the fish and chips. That is the very best treat of all!!
